Charts

Opening the charts:
Right-click on the Market Watch window, then click the Chart Window command in the context menu

Through the File menu you can open this window .



How to Operate the Charts I

Controlling the charts by "hot keys":
‘<-‘ and ‘->‘ cursor keys allow you to scroll the chart;
Home and End keys allow you to jump to the end or beginning of the chart;
‘-’ and ‘+’ keys are used to scale the chart;
‘Alt+1’, ‘Alt+2’ & ‘Alt+3’ keys switch the chart into the Bar, Candlesticks or Line presentation;
Ctrl+G switches on/off the grid;
Ctrl+S saves the chart in a file of the selected format (*.HST, *.CSV, *.PRN, *.HTM);
Ctrl+P prints the chart in the black and white mode;
Delete - deletes all the selected objects in the chart;
F8 activates the properties of the charts.

How to Operate the Charts II
Controlling the charts by mouse:
Scrolling - By pressing and holding the left mouse button, you can scroll the chart with horizontal mouse movements;
Vertical Scaling - When the cursor is on the price scale, press and hold the left mouse button. You can scale the chart vertically by moving the mouse;
Horizontal Scaling - When the cursor is on the time scale, press and hold the left mouse button. You can scale the chart horizontally by moving the mouse;
Chart Control Window - right-click the chart;
Select Object - double-click an object on the chart (trend, line, symbol, Fibonacci, etc.);
Edit Object - double click on the object. Press and hold the left button on the object and you can move or edit it;
Object Settings Window - right click the selected object.
The objects (Vertical Line, Horizontal Line, Trend Line, Fibonacci Retracement and Symbol) can be added to the chart through the Line Studies toolbar:



How to Operate the Charts III
The toolbar is activated through the View - Toolbars - Line Studies menu.>
You can use the following indicators to analyze chart movements:>
Average True Range;>
Bollinger Bands;>
Commodity Channel Index;>
MACD;>
Momentum;>
Moving Average;>
Parabolic SAR;>
Relative Strength Index;>
Stochastic Oscillator;>
Williams’ Percent Range.>
These indicators can be added to a chart through the Navigators
